Do you find your selves closing apps all the or leaving them in active frames?

I find myself closing apps after i'm done using them. Even when I'm multitasking between 2 or more app I'll close some or all out when i'm done using it.

Don't if it is just a habit for using old BBOS or other devices.

I have been closing them today, except for battery guru, because I like waking my phone up and seeing like 0.0 watts of power draw while the phone is asleep. Now once I fire up a couple of apps it really gets cooking and goes over 2.0 watts of power draw. Yesterday I was listening to a downloaded podcast over my BT headset while navigating and burned through over half my battery in an hour trip. That was a little rough but the screen was on the whole time so I'm not that surprised.

I would love to keep them open BUT i close them as i hate to have another page open. I really hope BlackBerry releases the API to developers & have apps running in the background without leaving the apps open. If Thorsten looks on the Crackberry forums, then i am sure he knows we want real it that way & not active frames.

Like many here: if I am not using the app, I close it. If I just need to do something else for a bit, but plan to get back to it, I leave it in a frame.

I really want to support devs for things I really really want, and reward them for developing early, but at the same time -- I just don't want to leave a frame open for them to work (I am talking a lot about LED control and such). I know in the big picture it's better to toss 2-3 bucks at a dev and wait and hope. I've done it with a couple apps so far. I'll be happier when i can run them in the background.

Relevent because I have to run a 3rd party application in a frame: Why doesn't the default clock/alarm app have multiple alarms? What is this, the dark ages? :-P

I like to have two open.
BeWeather (closes on it on from time to time)
    VitalSigns

This is one of the phones better items.

Would like to hear from folks that have found some good apps with useful Active Frames.

I open 4 active frames at anytime. This is one of the cool features I decided to own Z10. Opposed to the boring screen those static icons sitting on iOS I looked at in the past 3 years, the active frames make me cheerful especially looking at the running photos slide show, weather, clock and whatsapp.
