I've been now playing with my Z10 solid for the past 3 hours and just looked at my battery icon...OVER HALF POWER LEFT!!!!
I took it off the charger this morning at 7am and I've been using it intermittently throughout the day but just started using it heavily with picture taking, photo editing, phone calls, CB10, Facebook, Internet porn surfing, and fart app abuse for the past 3 hours.
Given my usage, I'm more than pleasantly surprised to see how much battery life is still left. Hope others are experiencing the same battery life.

Yep. Battery does get better and better on my Z10 too. So much so that I hardly ever have to do an extra charge during the daytime now! : )

I've had it since launch in the UK, so that's coming up to nearly nine weeks now. Hang in there, it takes two or three weeks to condition itself better. : )

Not sure any smartphone out there these days can yield you 15 - 16 hours without a recharge. A basic Nokia phone (just a phone, not even a camera) probably.

Even when I was using my old Bold 9900 or Samsung Note, I needed to give them juice at least once to last the remaining hours in a day.

The battery on my Z10 does appear to have improved after about a month's use.

Agreed. That's why having the removable battery is such a plus. Suggest the battery bundle so there's
always a full battery at the ready.

Well, I get 14 to 18 hours out of my Z10 on average now with medium usage. I guess it all depends on how hard you use the phone, but I get a full day really from taking it off charge when I wake up till I put it back on charge when I go to bed. Everyone obviously is going to be different. For me I am happy with my battery life as it is.

Salam bro, it could possibly be due to a certain app. I don't know if it makes a difference, but I prefer to only download native apps.

Wsalam. Right. Well I do have instagram and some other sideloaded apps. Planning to do a full wipe and will see how the battery is after. Thanks!

Battery did improve with the update from weeks ago. It still doesn't come anywhere close to the iPhone 5 imo. I swapped out my battery mid day each day. Blackberry has to improve on power management for sure. It's a new OS so it will get better. We all know LTE eats the battery but I'm only in an LTE zone for about half a day. The rest I'm on either WiFi or regular 3G. Yesterday I got 7.5 hrs of screen time alone and still had more juice left on the iPhone. Right now I have 3 hrs 45 min screen time usage and 12.5 hrs standby and still have 60% left on my battery.

Yeah...I have the battery bundle and I'm finding that I need it less and less but it's always there if I need that extra boost. Great accessory.
I've always wondered why, if the battery charger bundle carries the same battery as the Z10, a full charge on the bundle will only charge 2/3 when plugged into the Z10. If I didn't have the Defender case on, I would think I could just exchange the batteries and have double the battery life.

I am not sure but I think it could be the battery bundle drains a bit after you take it off the charger in the morning. Then some of the charge is lost as you transfer it to the one in the Z10 cause I dont think it has 0% lost.

Not my case... Normal use (for me...), battery last 6 hours :s

I really need a bigger one, at least the double.

Someone have an idea where I can find that?

One thing i have noticed since i installed 10.1 on my z10 which is a stl 100-2 is that the battery isnt as good as it was pre 10.1, im not saying its terrible but ive noticed that it gets warm very quickly especially if i have it plugged into my pc at work and im on the phone...i just spent 10mins on the phone to my missus and the battery temp was showing 35c via battery guru.

Anyhow am hoping that when 10.2 comes out, it alleviates the temp of the battery and also increase the battery life even more. Was a bit silly of them to put in such a low capacity battery to start with.
