Q10 is nearing launch. I am think of getting the Q10, but at the same time I want to keep my Z10 as well. Would it be possible to log in using same BBID on two BB10 units? That would be awesome and in would then get the best of both worlds.

I assume that other out there would also like to do something similar...

Up to 5 devices can share a BBID.

I want to know how this will work as well. When I signed into my BBID on my Z10 it kicked me out of bbm on my 9900. I am using the same BBID on my PlayBook and Z10 but I want to know how they plan to handle BBM. They will have to figure that out if they ever bring bbm to the PlayBook with the BB10 update. I'd love to have multiple BB10 devices with the same BBID and have a system that allows me to have all devices kept up to date.

yeap you can use your bb ID for your other bb device, I don't think there is any limitations to that BUT for your BBM, there will be just ONE BB ID for ONE BBM at a time, meaning that you can't have your Z and Q sporting the same BB ID to work simultaneously. if you wanna use your Z then your BBM contacts will be on your Z, leaving the Q with an zero BBM contact list and vice versa until you decide to swap then you just need to hit the RESTORE button.
