I got my Z10 the first day Att come out with it. Love the phone can't say anything bad about it. Just hope some of the stuff will get better like the map app. But what gets me mad and need to get it off my chest is that after get the phone I when and watch some of the YouTube review and most of them are talking down about the built of the Z10. From what I know is that the frame of the Z10 is made from metal only the back is plastic. If this is true I think Kevin should email those blog that did a bad job review the Z10 and call the Z10 a cheap plastic phone and it hurt me when they say other phones is made from higher material then Z10 Thank You for hear me out.

The Z10 is made of advanced composites retrieved from the alien flying saucer crash site in Roswell, New Mexico. BB reconstituted the original components into the super-elastomer used in the Z10.

It's a very durable material, except when directly exposed to anti-matter (which I don't recommend). I also wouldn't try and use the built-in fusion reactor power system to power a Toyota Prius -- warp speed into a concrete barrier isn't a pretty sight!

You are perfectly correct! From what I have read somewhere on this forum, the Z10 is indeed made of high quality Aluminium and Stainless Steel! which is a far higher quality material than the plastic used on iPhone 5.
The Z10 is Blackberry's Flagship Phone. It took almost 3 years in the making! You think they would go with Plastic for this device?
So I am with you on this. Kevin does need to communicate with this blog to ask them to correct their review.

There are lots of sick reviews out there probably paid by Apple to bad mouth the Z10. One can't do anything about them!

I read one where they claim that the Z10 screen is not made of Corning Gorilla Glass but of some cheap taiwanese gimmick tech which is actually not even glass and is a fingerprint and skin oil magnet! They further go on to say that that this was apparently done by Blackberry to save costs.

My Local BB dealer informed me the truth. The Z10 doesn't use a glass alright, but it's something far premium and superior material called the sapphire crystal! It's supposed to be harder than diamond and is very scratch resistant!

Incidentally, the iPhone 4 series doesn't use "Gorilla Glass" either.

("Gorilla Glass" is a brand-name for a Corning scratch-resistant product, not a "category" of scratch-resistant glass, which has several other vendors in the market as well).

Z10 also has an oleophobic coating on the screen, which resists skin oils and makes it easy to wipe them off.

You forgot to add that the physical composition changes when exposed to kryptonite.

They changed that between the Developer Alpha and the Z10 release. The Z10 is kryptonite-resistant. Hence the delay in the US launch!

The z10 housing is made from polycarbonate, buttons and inner body are aluminum or stainless steal.

I came from the iPhone 5 and love the build of the z10, especially how it feels on my hand.

The z10s screen is not gorilla glass, and neither is the iPhone 5.

I think it's been cleared up that the Z10 was created by a flux capacitor traveling at 88 mph which requires 1.21 jiggawatts of power that's used to travel to 1885 and converts a steam train to the z10.. all while dealing with a pain in the *** outlaw.

I don't think so. Polycarbonate is essentially plastic! Thermoplastic to be precise.

The back is woven carbon fiber. It should be plenty strong. Try to break it. I dare you.
edit: My mistake its "woven glass" whatever TF that is. My apologies.

I haven't received my Z10 yet, but I hear it's an extremely durable and nigh invulnerable metal like the Earth metal Adamantium or the Olympian metal Adamantine, and combined with the various enchantments placed upon it by Odin, is for all intents and purposes, indestructible. I would check with Thor (same metal as his hammer...Mjolnir), Odin himself or Asgardian customer service.

I betcha it was Loki's doing! (I knew it)

I'm pretty sure I got a limited Adamantium edition. I have dropped and scratched repeatedly and only a scratch below the BlackBerry logo. I couldn't imagine needing an otterbox like case.
