I'm working to port the famous twitter app called Tweetian to BlackBerry 10.

From the autor: "Tweetian is a feature-rich Twitter app for Symbian and Harmattan, powered by Qt/QML. It comes with a simple, native and amazing UI that will surely make you enjoy the Twitter experience on your smartphone".

At the moment I have a stable version and ready for testing, BETA of course. Any comment, any suggestion would be very appreciated.

To test, please download the version 1.8.7. Take a look for my lastest post in this thread.

Hi,

I've jus side loaded the app and thought I'd give my first impressions :

Love the colours through out the app but the font messes with my eyes and makes it very uncomfortable to read.

Very laggy, not at all buttery smooth like bb10 apps should be.

Links in tweets don't all work.

When a link to a picture does work, to enlarge the pic, getting the link to work is a challenge.

All the navigation buttons work but after two or three touches.

Overall the look and feel doesn't flow with bb10 in my opinion. It feels like a android port rather then a native app.

The apps got promise but needs a lot of work. Hope that helps and doesn't sound too negative. I will keep using it and send some more feedback as and when I can.

I had this on my Nokia N9 and it still has that meego feel to it. That's my initial impression until I can solve this PIN number issue.

You can increse the font size, use the settings options. Button at the bottom-right (home screen). Even, you can switch to a light theme.

I hate the PIN authentication method. I'm working in a workaround.

The response to clicking on tweets isn't so good. After several tries on clicking the tweet it won't open. Sometimes minimizing the app and going back into it works but not always.

i have noticed that it can take long press to make action happen. as well as i can scroll down for ever on a black screen. predictive text is missing
but looks good in dark, like lots of options. thanks for developing for blackberry
