As you type it switches for you. Start typing in English, it predicts in english, next word spanish and itll predict in spanish.

Yes, I am fully aware of language automatically changing as you type. I am wondering if there's a way for us to change the language manually

Is there a way to switch keyboards quickly so messages or documents can be composed in Latin alphabet languages and non Latin alphabet languages. (say Greek and English)

Have a look in Settings -> Language and Input -> Input Languages there is a button at the bottom that looks like a Globe in a quote balloon.

I finally found it!! I had the same problem, while I couldn't change manually between English and Greek directly from the keyboard while typing but by mistake I found it. You just have to press alt and then enter, and a box appears where you can change languages between the preferred ones!

It only works if you tell it not to predict the language you're using, but it's usually better for languages which have words spelled in relatively similar ways.

It's called "Language detection" in settings. It only works with that setting turned off.

BTW, what about languages with another alphabets? Some alphabets have more letters then keys on Q10. Is that keyboard changeable? Or I will need to buy another Q10?

Yes, but how do you type without seeing the idioms? With a virtual keyboard, you do see things as they will be written. It's more out of curiosity

Same here. Alt enter will switch to Korean but it is somewhat slow. The implementation is still worse than on os7

The problem is that for example in Russian there are 33 letters, instead of 26. And there are simply not enough buttons to fit in all the letters, which makes it impossible to type in Russian. I think it is the same with other languages that have more than 26 chars.

In Russian you can double-click some of the letters to get other ones. All of the letters seem to be present.

On the opening page of my brand-new Q10 - after switching it on for the first time - I selected the wrong language: this means I am stuck, as I cannot do all that's required to get to 'Settings' in a language I do not understand! What to do? Many thanks, JHG
