Someone showed me this today...when typing and requiring a punctuation that requires a keyboard switch...like a question mark...you can hold the question mark button on the bottom right and drag finger (or thumb) up to the question mark and release and you will get the mark and the keyboard will not need to be toggled back.

This is an awesome tip!! Thanks!!

I send a lengthy email order every week :
    3cs Smirnoff etc etc

This will save some of the keyboard switching .

Happy to hear that is on the Z10. I accidentally discovered that feature on my Note II a few weeks ago and it is a BIG timesaver. Counting down until I can upgrade my 9850 to Z10 on 4/23!

I just swipe down from the upper row of letters, then select the question mark. It toggles back to the regular keyboard.

Another way is while you are typing away on your Z10 and you need that question mark, a single swipe down on the keyboard will bring up the secondary characters and once you tap the one you need it will immediately go back to the letters so you may continue typing away.

It works with shift too, if you want to capitalise something mid sentence.

Also someone posted in another thread that if you edit and get the circle you can tap on the left and right sides of the circle to move one character instead of trying to slide it to the right place.

Yep, that's a great tip too seeing as many don't like the "edit" circle. However, once you learn this little trick it's really easy!

Not sure which I find easier, sliding to the key or using the swipe down gesture.

I just press and hold the key to get the upper case letter. Also, this will display accents for that letter.

Hmmm, neat tip, but Im still into the neat trick of just swiping downward anywhere on the keyboard to reveal the ? symbol or anything else I need.

Will toggle between the two and see which one I like better.

Yes,...This is hot! Here's one,...not sure if it's known. When you're in the text menu of OS7,...if you press the Trackpad, you would be prompt "Call 123-123-1234" Well in BB10,..you can't select an item like that,...but if you long press a number,...you get options that can be performed! How cool.
