Couldn't find any other entries on this so I have to bring it up. Only been playing with my Z10 for 3 days now, but loving it.
Issue: when I receive a group text message I not only get that message moved to the top of my hub (as well as under text message sub cat) but I then also get a text from the "Sender" of that group message. Meaning I get a duplicate of the last text they sent me directly, showing up as new and appearing chronologically just after the group message. This happens every time someone in the group message replies. Each senders last direct text to me suddenly shows up as new again.
Anyone else experiencing this? Or is it just AT&T'ers?

What do you mean group? I send texts to 25 people and when someone replies, it only shows them...

I'm talking group texts.
Meaning someone sends me a message as part of a group. Every time someone replies I see both the group reply and that persons last direct message as well

I have a a similar issue. I have sent out a group text that went out as a mms message. One of the people in the message replied and the reply came back in th group message but I also got another text from them from a old text.

Yes!!! I've experienced that on AT&T since February. It bugs the crap out of me too because I'm OCD with that sort of thing. What's weird is it doesn't occur with every group chat with every person, it seems to happen randomly.

Group text behavior actually has gotten a little better over the past couple weeks, though. For the first month of having the phone, my group texts also included myself as one of the contacts so every time I sent a reply, I would get a duplicate text in the thread from myself. I think AT&T fixed something on their end recently though because it doesn't do that anymore.

I stumbled on this thread while searching about another issue. I can't seem to find a way to reply to the sender only when receiving a text sent to multiple people. "Reply to all" seems to be the default. But that issue coupled with the issue of this thread makes me wonder if this is the Z10's way of bringing up the most recent "solo" text received from the sender, allowing you a way to quickly reply to just them using their last "solo" text. I read in another thread that there is no way to reply to just the sender unless you bring up a new text message to just them. That seems silly, not to mention unproductive. My rickety old 5.0 Pearl gave me a quick option of "reply" and "reply to all". The new and improved Z10 should surely have this same basic option, one would think. Anyone have any other ideas

I have the same problem here, and I am also on AT&T. Since I have only seen a select few people with this problem (or at least only a select few that post in the forums) it sure looks like an AT&T problem otherwise wouldn't all the Canada folks also have this issue?

Also experienced this. Seemed to disappear after a few cycles. I experienced this with MMS messages that were imported from prior BlackBerry device. I cannot answer for sure if deleting the 'last message from sender' is what solved it.

Yes I am having the same problem on verizon, I thought it might have something to do with old messages being imported in during the initial setup, but I have deleted some of those old messages and it still happens. I'm glad to know they are working on a fix.

Just found out that iphones users who I am in a group text with are all getting "double messaged", meaning they get a reply from me individually, AND a reply to the group message.
When they reply to the group message, that message shows up in my z10 group conversation, but also marks the individual SMS thread as unread. Come on BB, let's get this fixed!
