At night and when I'm trying to sleep and while it's plugged in and fully charged, my z10's screen keeps turning on and off like it is being continuously plugged in and unplugged. Almost seems like it always turns on when it hits 99%, starts charging, then automatically dims. It gets really annoying and i end up unplugging it, but i need it to be 100% when i get up. Anyone else find this going on?

To put it in bedside mode, swipe down from the top of the screen while on the lock screen.

Yes this always happens with mine too. I don't use bedside mode. Hopefully they'll fix it soon.

This happens to me as well. The only way I found to stop it is to put it in bedside mode.
I also find that in the morning my phone often is not at 100% when I take it off the charger.
It is at 95% weird.

Mine does something similar. When I put it in bedside mode, I turn it off with the top button hut when I wake up the screen is turned back on. Not sure if it's supposed to do that?

Now i can't replicate the problem on or off bedside mode. Weird. I wonder if it is the power cord I'm using and it's just a bad connection. I have been using the PlayBook charger. And in response to laying it face down, yes that's what I've been doing, but shouldn't have to.

When I saw the title to this thread I though it was going to be that the clock comes and goes when the phone is In bedside mode. This happens to me sporadically. Some nights it behaves perfectly and is on all night (or at least when I wake and look at it!) Others the clock vanishes after a few minutes and can only be restored by exiting and re entering bedside mode. I wonder if these two issues are linked and to do with the charging reaching completion

In bedside mode and plugged in the screen reactivates itself over night, even multiple times if I wake up and deactivate it again. My guess: when you charge it the charging stops when the phone is fully powered. Once it loses power again to a certain point (99%???) it starts to charge again, thereby switching the screen back on. Software "issue".

Yeah sometimes I want to put it in bedside mode with screen off and I always find it with the screen on in the morning. So I just put it in the "Phone calls only " profile when I don't want it with the screen on overnight. Hopefully it's fixed in the next update.
