I am just wondering how you can go to your normal icons and do SMS/Email/Browse while you're on a call (speakerphone, bluetooth or even just normal). Using a Z10.

Move your face away from the screen and it should light up.
Then just swipe from the bottom bezel like you would in an app.
The phone active frames just like an app would.
It's quite clever and smooth, leaves you free to do whatever else you want to do.

Yep, this works surprisingly well. Was talking to a friend the other day & he wanted to know the F1 results, I just swiped the phone up and started the F1 app, no loss in communication at all

Same. I have closed the Phone app, thinking it would end the call. But nope.

The odd thing is that there is no actual need for the phone to work like that as you get the counter and can return to it from the icon at the bottom of each home screen so I hope that this gets changed to not use up one of your active frame slots once they do non-frame apps in an eventual update.

I used to always end my call on the 9900 by accident. Pretty impossible to do now.
