This is my second z10 and I am still having the same problem.
When I get a voice mail, I listen to it delete it, but the notification stays there all the time showing one message. And when I try to delete the notification from the hub, it will not delete it.
    This is really annoying.
The only thing that got rid of the notification was a reset, or when I updated the software, obviously I'm not qoing to do a reset every time I get a message!

Does anyone have this same problem or the solution.

Two things that temporarily worked for me

    1. Delete the existing voice mail number and replace it with 222 if you're on EE.

    2. Delete the current voice mail number, reboot your phone, then re enter the current voice mail number.

    See how you go.

I did option 1 and it appears to be working for me now but you never know what might happen tomorrow.

Have you tried the 5 swipe reset of the hub? (Rather then resetting the entire phone?)

5 finger reset --> In the Hub, swipe diagonally from the top right.

To the OP, listening to the message, then deleting the message works for me. Notification disappears after

This is a known issue, there is a KB article on BlackBerry help website in regards. I don't have the link but I've been in contact with them and have sent device logs to hopefully assist in a future OS update.

Man your lucky young get visual voice mail in your hub. I want that. I get my visual voice mail via texts. One reason I got my z10 cause I saw that visual voice mail would be integrated with the hub. Now they remove it. I'm with fido

Call yourself and then call voicemail and delete that voicemail and it should be gone, I had this issue only once since Feb 12th of getting the phone, never had it since.

But what I did was pull battery out for 1 min and then rebooted USING the 3 button power up (which is Hold +/- buttons and Power Button at once until phone boots to the Blue BB Icon Loading Screen (this is the loading uo OS screen you see)) and issue was solved.

I hate the way clicking on the vmail notification dials vmail. And you can't even delete the notification if you have a vmail. I enjoy a clean non clustered inbox so having one item that I can't delete annoys me. Sometimes vmails sit for a week or more

My issue seems to be solved, haven't had the problem since I got a replacement handset. That may be the only solution.

If you don't want it in your inbox then you can set it to only show up in its own spot in the hub.

I had the same problem. BB told me to remove and replace battery, it didn't get rid of it. As soon as I did the upgrade to the new software (2 days ago) and the system rebooted, the voicemail notification that was stuck there, was gone. (it was a glitch that BB was aware of, so maybe the software upgrade addressed this?)

I've had this before (not just on the Z10 though). I just call myself and leave another voicemail and then by accessing the voicemail and deleting the new message, the notification goes away.

    Hello,

I've tried everything from pulling the battery to upgrading to the newest software for the new blackberry z10 from verizon and I still have the voicemail notification on my phone.

Any more ideas or suggestions, it states I have two voicemails. This is annoying!
