Wanted to share a find that I do not believe has been posted. I picked up an unlocked Z10 from Newegg today for $610 net net shipped by applying promo code VMEPROMOMAR13. Requires signing up for V.me by Visa payment processing.

When I purchased this afternoon it was listed at $660 and the promo deducted $50 for a net sale price of $610 all-in shipped. Since then, the Z10 it is out of stock, however, the price has dropped to $650. You can sign up for notification when its back in stock. So applying the same promo code suggests a $600 net net price.

It looks like its the STL100-3 Model RFK121LW based on the product description and features:

True, I noticed that...but they also dropped the price by $10 dollars since this afternoon...and its reasonable to assume that it might be back in stock during the near-term. And the promo is good for $50 off yielding a sale price of $600 for an unlocked, new Z10 with the most comprehensive frequency coverage.

This is the same phone that was selling for $1000 a few weeks ago...and around 650 from ebay sellers. And you know you will get a legit model from Newegg...its a good shop.

Looks like a good price to me...suggest signing up for notification or checking periodically while surfing at the office

QUESTION: How are they coming up with a $999 price ??? I don't think 'unlocked' is worth that much. I thought the full price through ATT was $549 without the 2-year contract. That makes the Newegg price an extra $450 just to get an unlocked phone. |

Alright update: I received the Z10 from Newegg and it was the wrong model. They shipped an STL100-1. Called returns and no problem issuing a return authorization including a pre-paid shipping label. They are checking with the warehouse to see if they have the STL100-3 model. If they do they will reship...if not they will issue refund.

I was wrong...i would have thought Newegg would have gotten this right. But it is a new product line and will take some time for the online outfits to get this right. Cheers!

I now feel a little better for getting one from gsmnation. I confirmed with them the model number before placing the order. I hope you get the correct one soon. Mine is due to arrive in the morning. I will not be able to sleep tonight.

after requesting info on tuesday, i finally got word this morning from newegg CS that the model they're selling is the RFG81UW. . this clearly doesn't match the specs they're claiming (which is unfortunately common among resellers of this phone).

that kills it for anyone who cares about LTE and/or t-mobile.

Actually I received my phone yesterday which I ordered from Newegg and so far I have no issue with 4G connectivity as it is rock solid.

The only thing I am worried about is the LTE and I am hoping it not gonna be a issue, because before I bought this I found the same model on ebay whose seller claimed that it was a T-Mobile Z10..

If you go down a few pages it provides the specs information and there no information of 1700 mhz frequency, should I be worried and return the phone?

Because I actually got the phone for $550 instead of $599

What do you guys think I should do?

I have been a T-Mobile customer for a very long time (7 years I would say) and a few months ago they had a program which they offered premium handset protection for around $5.00 a month which is usually I think $8 or $9.. But if I am not wrong they still do offer this service.

Now, I myself in a bit of trouble I don't know if I should return the phone or not..

Because I found a few ebay listings that clearly stats no 4G but when I put the sim inside the phone I clearly get the 4G connectivity..

I checked the speed with side-loaded speedtest.net app and the speeds I was getting on the blackberry were twice as much I was getting on my Galaxy Nexus on the same spot with the same SIM..

The Model is the RFG81UW according to the top of the page, so no LTE, and doesn't support T-Mobile's 1700 MHz AWS according to BlackBerry's own product saftey doc for this model:

yeah from what has been stated the stl 100-1 doesn't include LTE, it has 4g which is basically faster 3g but LTE and 4g are 2 different things so that phone won't work on LTE

The one at GSM Nation is now $689 and has all the bands that T-Mo needs for both HSPA and LTE. Your so close to T-Mo release now though that you may just want to wait to buy directly from T-Mo so you can take it back to the store if something happens in the first year.
