No you can disable dev mode

Nope u dont, i installed a few bars the other night as i wanted some of my Android apps and so far nothing on the BB10 front from the devs etc.

Was pretty simple and painless and my apps work perfectly fine.

One thing i noticed is that the dev mode will auto shut off as i dont recall shutting it down but last night went into the settings and saw it was off.

It will turn itself off after a reboot or after 10 days.

I love the flexibility of being able to side load apps. It really adds a lot to the platform.

I remember my first sideload...now I look back and wonder why I never did it sooner. Congrats!!! Anyone looking for .bar files should check the forums and look into asking koz....enough hints there

Hey, I'm a little new to installing games/apps manually onto my phone. I downloaded a n64 emulator and I got it in a .bar file and I was wondering how I could get it to install on my BlackBerry Z10 phone. I recall someone posting that it wont be in BBW so I want to try to do it manually from a PC. I dont have any software for the BB10 on my PC so could someone please provide me some sort of step by step instructions? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
