The BB10's will be launched on ATT soon. Has anyone got an idea of when we might see a Link version that will sync with desktop versions of Outlook?

I have found that in quite possibly the majority of situations where someone says they want USB PIM sync with Outlook, it's more a matter of trying to replicate their old Blackberry setup than actually doing something that some other modern method can't do better.

I had a call from bb about something else and I asked about this. The word is its coming this month. On pc first then for mac. Also only 1 way sync first ( desktop to phone ) then will be updated to 2 way sync

Here's an example for those that believe 2 way sync is unnecessary.
I uploaded my contacts from my old device using BBLink shortly after launch. There were numerous issues, but seemingly resolved through the last update to the Link software.
A couple of weeks had passed and I realized that all my contacts had been created locally on my z10, and there appears to be no ability to move a local contact into a sync contact folder. (I see the ability to link to existing contact but not creating a linked contacts)

So now I have a large database (couple thousand) where I have easily edited hundreds of contacts over the past few weeks, and I can't get a sync copy to my desktop. I would appreciate if anyone sees a solution to this problem. The way I see it, I'm stuck waiting for 2 way sync.

    This is just totally unacceptable.

They really screwed up big time on this issue. What were they thinking!?

I'm now stuck carrying 2 BB's so I can have a working calender. Which the "IPhone Fan Club" just loves making sport of.

That's what one of my friends has decided. Had order a z10 but the issue with outlook sync has made him cancel and wait. Pretty disappointing for people who need this function to work

I checked their website and it's NOT available for BB10. So why bother posting this??

Web link or Link software? Never mind, did you sideload? I do have an outlook.com (hotmail) address, so I'll probably just sync with that. I am using CompanionLink to sync desktop Outlook with my Hotmail account. I should be ok 'till they get Link updated.

What he said? Looked around some and it only seems that you can import desktop Outlook contacts and calender. No 2 way yet.

    I'm getting that same.

The update from my position is useless. I so like the phone but just hate this software.

A major FAIL on BB's part.

Honestly I am seriously considering returning the Z10 and wait until BB gets it's **** together on this issue.

Well it seems that even German customers are having issues with the "new" link not working

    https://forum.vodafone.de/t5/BlackBe...cht/m-p/385132

I had to make a move and bought companionlink for $50 as I needed a phone with a functional calender.

Pretty sad that I am forced to spend $50 on third party software to get my "Flagship" phone's calender functional.

I already have purchased CompanionLink to sync Outlook (desktop) to Outlook.com. So I may end up using it to sync with the phone. How is it working out for you?
