It's actually the same problem as my previous question, but this time this error occurred when I wanted to install some apps from the Software to my connected Blackberry 9810.

The Software automatically performed back-up before applying the installations, and the it freezes again attempting the "smart card" back-up action, whereas I had unchecked the "smart card" and "social feeds" options from the custom back-up section.

Secondly, when I forcefully exited the Software and re-opened it again, it couldn't connect to my device! It was "connecting" for God knows how long until I lost patience and exit the Software again.

I'm very desperate to install input languages to my blackberry right now, but then again the Software really drives me insane. Anyone please help?

any luck yet? mine has been doing this for month. i want the Z10, but i need to back up my 9810.

i can't update the OS because it won't backup. i have tried at two locations to make sure it just wasnt the desktop program for some reason.
