I can't find any details in BlackBerry World if an app is native or an Android port?

    You can't.

By policy they reject any app that has Android in the description, in the game. Or even an icon of the Android robot.

Edit: they also haven't given us any indicator. They don't want users to know...

How do you reason that last statement? Last I checked, there were quality apps in Google Play.

1 way would probably be just to read the user reviews.

Act like it isn't all the time. That way you never have that thought unless it force closes on you. Lol

If there are screenshots, you can usually tell from the Android ui elements.

After you install it you can tell. It will have the android player options bar or when the app starts, if BB10, it will say Blackberry 10 very faintly on the black load screen.

There are goo android ports such as songza or find my car. But I would like to see in bbworld if it's a port.

One thing i check for is the "Hide bar" button in the screen shots. I hate android apps on my Z10 and would never use them. Though, I welcome them on the platform.

It's probably an Android app if there's:
    -No Cascades UI
-Big ads taking up most of the screen
    -Odd aspect ratio
-User reviews saying it's a port
    -The app is in Chinese

Yeah that pisses me off I download and start the app only to have no swiping no BB10 framework. Gets deleted. The only ports I have are games ,games are built for crossplatform to make money so they get a pass.

Seriously stopped going into the store downloading poor ports.Im just getting the apps I need now which are generally transport ones and the i abuse the browser.
