If they from App World you should be able to sign in using Blackberry ID and all of you apps should be ready to re-install.

As long as you are using the same bbid they will be in uninstalled section of my world in BB WORLD

Yep even the ones you paid for. On all 3 of mine they switched over no problems

Taking a backup of your old device, and then using that backup for your new one works, too...of course, ths also will transfer your music, your files, your WiFi settings...pretty much all of it. The advantage there, obviously, is that if you keep the second one synced to the first, you can put the one on the charger while you use the other. Or you'll have a "hot" standby, if you're big into redundancy, or need a hot playbook to support business needs.
