Just wondering if I am the only one in New Zealand interested in the new Blackberry Z10. Did a little twitter search today on "#BlackBerryZ10 New Zealand" and there are only two tweets by me. Surely I am not the only one slightly interested in the new device here in NZ. Any fellow kiwi's out there who have been hanging out for BB10 please holla in this thread.

I haven't actually got the phone yet. I have been asking on twitter about the availability of the phone in New Zealand.

I was just surprised that seems like nobody else in NZ wants to find out.

Yea mate, I have sent emails and tweets to both Telecom and Vodafone. Had no answer from Telecom which is not surprising as they have crap customer service. Vodafone replied back that they have No Idea when it will be available.

I also asked Blackberry Australia but they couldn't give me any info......

Well got some news. Blackberry australia is tipping at Wed 6 March launch in OZ. So NZ wouldn't be far away. Here's hoping....

False alarm guys....the Wed 6 Mar date was on a photo of the Z10 published on their facebook page. Title of the post was something like "stay tuned folks, news of the release date is very close"

I checked that date to be correct with 2013, as 6 Mar 2013 is a Wednesday. So I got excited thinking that maybe BB-AU are dropping a hint.

But then browsing some other sites I also see that same image of the Z10 being used with the same date showing. So it's just a promo shot that all the BB sites are using.

NO Conspiracy.

It finally arrived after a small delay at customs in Auckland. Picked up my new "Z10" on Friday from the couriers. One happy "Newberry" owner! :-)
