Anyone with any ideas how to get the flash to turn on? Dark room...no flash...I see where it is to turn it on but is is all grey / faint and does not respond.

Check which mode the camera is in. You only have manual control over the flash when the camera is in 'normal' mode.

Hi,

You have to make sure that the image stabilization (hand that's shaking icon) is turned off before you will be able to use the flash.

Thanks, tried to figure out how to get the flash to work all day yesterday, but didn't think of turning the stabilization off. Works great now.
