It says activation required though. I don't think they would let you buy the hardware out-right. Even though it's no-contract, they would force you to go on month-to-month, so you are paying at least one month of fees.

Futureshop will not honor their promise of beat advertised competitors. I called and they said no , their price will be $100 more than Koodo's.

And also, Future Shop and best buy and Walmart and Costco, YOU CANNOT BUY OFF CONTRACT... Only Rogers, Bell, Telus stores will allow you to do that.

And I'm seeing on both twitter and facebook, if you are not on contract, the stores like Bell, Rogers, Telus won't allow you to buy outright.

This guy in the forums just had that happen to him... can't buy off contract today

Supposedly Rogers requires you to get a plan , even if you pay $599 no contract price.
