I apologize if this has been covered somewhere. I have searched the forums and could not find it (could be my clumsy search technique).

Does the blinking Red LED alert have a "time out" after a certain period has expired? I notice that sometimes I have the red light blinking and sometimes not (usually after I haven't been near the phone or checked it for a while) -- and I still have messages. Thanks.

Yes, it times out after 15 minutes.

No kidding! I always wondered this myself, I guess when I see the red light it's rare that I wait 15 minutes so I'm used to "always having it there". But sometimes in the morning it will be blinking and sometimes not, but I always have new messages! Apparently when it's blinking those were sent recently. Great question Est8!
