Anyone can shed some light on how to achieve this? I tried media card, BB Link. Neither worked. Doesn't seem to have bluetooth approach? Very annoying, as much as the address book transfer failure! Two most important data to reserve when one does switch, but neither works!!!! I have entries entered into on the original calendar up to end of 2013!! And I have trusted BB so much that I didn't do any backup other than the usual BB7 ways.

Ok use Blackberry Desktop manager and back up all your data. Open Blackberry link. Connect your Z10. Click the settings wheel(beside the Question mark with a circle around it). Left side Restore data. Choose which data set and restore.

Thanks kccman, but using restore data as you described seems to skip my calendar entirely. I also created a calendar-only backup from my 9900 using Desktop Manager and restored it to the Z10 using Blackberry Link. It goes through the motions but noting gets restored. Any ideas?

Any updates on this subject? There's no restore option in BlackBerry link, likely because I don't have a BB10 backup through BlackBerry link (I used the BlackBerry desktop software to back up my 9900 last night). Everything has been moved over EXCEPT for the calendar. I saw a post about somehow sharing it on outlook.com - I tried that but still no synch, and even if it were to work, it only goes forward 90 days. I could infinitely go forwards with the 9900 as my schedule is repetitive forever.

There seems to be a number of threads with varying degrees of advice but nobody actually stating that something WORKED.

Surely BlackBerry isn't forsaking one of the best features it had - the calendar. I really don't want to go through the motions and set it up solely on the phone. Or will I have to? :-(

I use a gmail email address to sync two computers, playbook and now z10 with my calender, and a hot mail address to sync the same for contacts between all devices. I could use an outlook( just found about) but I like a little redundancy and not rely on one service to do all, in case of a problem. There was no way (that I figured out) to transfer info from 9900 to z10. Took a couple hours, but it worked for me.

Unfortunately the Outlook sync ability many relied upon is not available out of the box. However, CrackBerry has reported that a software update is coming to address the issue.

So to be exact: There currently is no way to get your calendar data over from a 9900 to a new BB10 unless you use Google or some other cloud service? I thought Both BB-Link and the device itself provided a system to completely transfer PIM data?
