I'm the founder of FaceFlow, and we have a great update for you.

First of all, thanks a lot for the support and the interest shown in the last weeks and months for a video chat application on the Blackberry 10, especially the interest shown in our announcement of FaceFlow supporting Blackberry 10. We take every comment and feeback seriously and are working our as**s off day and night to have something great for you on January 30 (and continuously).

We've created a little promo video of the Blackberry 10 and our upcoming application, you can watch it at:



The wait is almost over, can't wait to get my hands on that BB10 device !

Ps.: FaceFlow is currently available as a Web application, at http://www.faceflow.com. People using the Web application can also talk to people using the BB10 app. we are also working on an iOS and Android version, so in the near future you will be able to communicate with almost anyone, regardless of the device they use.

Things like this will make BB10 and all future phones untouchable by all competition!
I seem to find more info that make the wait that much longer.

WiFi is always preferred, but we try to keep bandwidth low enough so that cellular network can also be used. It may be harder for a 4-way video chat to have a decent quality if the cellular network is really bad, but we will still allow it, it's usually fast enough.

While it looks good, a Google+ Hangout allows up to 10 video chats. Just sayin'. People need to take a breath and not get overhyped lol..

Unfortunately I don't think we'll see it appearing on our BB10 devices anytime soon.

google+ is not an alternative for people who dont want to have all the usual crap that comes with social sites. but its a good point.
i personally wont join google + simply because Facebook is enough hassle without asding more social network sites.
i am sure there are others like me. so faceflow and the like are ideal for us.

I've been using FaceFlow on my Playbook for several months now. It works great.
Can't wait for the native Playbook app.

Been using this through the PB and PC flash enabled browsers. At least now I don't have to by my peeps a PB to video chat with them. Treat the BB user right and they will reward you for it I am sure.
