Does this mean we can not only run DOS, and Windows 95, but now also run Mac OS?

Has anyone tried or game to do so?

Most likely uses native code, meaning it wouldn't work on the Playbook anyway. (I haven't checked this personally, it's just an educated guess).

Ooooh, run an obsolete, blocky monochromatic OS emulator that's uglier than the first version of Windows... Bet most people reading this are much younger than the original Mac.

Not even curious, and I love Dosbox...

What would be the point? the pb os is superior in my eyes. Besides, why would I want to run their proprietary communist icrap. Whay would you need/want anything else? Only of you are developing for other os? Then why not run them on the respective hardware?

As far as I understand the emulator is for Android not PB: do you really think it could be turned into an android port?

I have long been a macintosh user, and definitely I can say even MacOS7 apps were far superior than many of the present PB apps. There were extremely mature freewares from tech domains (ftp, editors...) to browsers (remember on macs the iCab browser introduced ad filtering 10 years before Mozilla was even born) to encyclopedias (indeed on an OSX machine I still maintain such an OS7 emulator to keep access to a french language large quotation dict that stays far superior to wikipedia).

If such an emulator actually could run, I for one would volunteer to try some legacy apps that remain excellent as of today...
Now, having seen DosBox run, I believe this would just be for unusual cases where you dont (yet?) find an equivalent from today...
