    Just had a seemingly legit email from BlackBerry UK offering a free charger and battery to Bold 9900 owners. Seems to direct to the UK Blackberry website as well.

    Well, I applied and I've had a confirmation email saying it'll be in the post in 2 to 4 weeks. I've also received an email this morning from the same address that linked to this. BlackBerry 10 - Official News and Updates at BlackBerry.com - US

    yup does seem legit, the actual claim page is a uk.blackberry.com page

    no real info and i put the pin in for my 2 - 9900's and it would accept neither - said i am not entitled to the offer - reading comments on another site that seems to be the common theme - both phones 2nd hand - originally non contract phones as far as i know via carphone warehouse in the UK

    when i put mine in it rejected it, i then tried and used capitals for the PIN and it worked, so might be worth a try. also id imagine the email needs to be either the email you recieved on or maybe tied to your BBID
