    I have a Blackberry 9900 running 7.1 OS. Have had some interesting (read frustrating) wi-fi issues.
    I use SplashID Safe which allows for wi-fi synchronization. When I try to use it it crashes the appplication on my PC (2 different PC's). As well, when I try to connect my new Sierra Wirless Aircard Mobile Hotspot with the 9900 the aircard crashes and reboots. I tried another 9900 and it could connect fine. Several computers can also connect to the aircard so I suspect it is OK.

    The 9900 works fine on several different routers and can work as a Hotspot itself so it seems the wifi portion is working.

    Several reboots/battery pulls haven't solved the issue. I have upgraded the OS from 7.0 and the SplashID issue remained the same. I only got the aircard after the upgrade so I cannot comment if the earlier version worked (the other 9900 I tested was at 7.0)
