    My wife's Torch is constantly shutting itself off... It is showing a full battery and wont stay on more than a couple of seconds before I get the "Turning Device Off" message and then it turns off...

    I swapped the battery with my Torch's known good battery, same behavior. Wiped the device and loaded the latest official release, same problem... What gives? I was really hoping this would last until BB10, is the device a goner or am I missing something?

    Did you reinstall any apps or restore a backup after you wiped it?

    Before I restored the backup or any Apps, I just left it with the new clean OS load and it was still doing it.

    go to settings on your wife's blackberry and there you must search for auto off when you find it,disable it the phone has no battery problem you just need to switch the auto off/on off okay.
