i just looked on the website for tmobile and they still have Handheld Software (v 4.2.2.180) listed as the latest software..

Also what will happen when I try to upgrade my Suncom Curve using the Tmobile software?

Your not the only one. I've been checking everyday. I even got so frustrated last night that I sent them an email asking about it.

I've received no response as of this moment.

from my last post, there is a special link for us former Suncom customers. The link takes us to a seperate site but it still lists 4.2 as the latest software.

I think if we get enough people calling, we might get a better answer. Calls TMo.

I'll let you know what they say.

TMO always behind like the dogs balls. It will probably take them weeks to update the page, if they do. I went with another carriers OS following the guides here and I'm very happy so far. Once they update ill def. go with the tmo update.

Verizon will be coming out with the first Touch-screen Berry soon......ahead of everybody else! Wow! Awesome!

    Except.......................

All I really want is OS 4.5

Next on my list would be the Javelin.

I love Verizon but I feel certain they will be LAST on both of these items.

Check out the update on the main page and this link:https://www.blackberry.com/hhupgrade/. I typed in my Pin and it said my device was not supported.

I have been using OS 4.5.0.55 from the East Asia Site without any problems.

I still have the beta .55 on my 8320 . ATM there is no way that i know of to get the legit update unless you are one of the lucky few that when they input their pin its accepted.

    Sorry for the misunderstanding ncmale29

I got the official release from another carrier, but it is working fine, what do you think the tmobile update will offer. Especially since I am former suncom I won't have any uma issues with wifi.

so far using this beta version i always use UMA at home and have no issues. I'm listening to music streams using moodio, on and off wifi access and in youtube when ever i get time at work.

No issues so far. the only thing i dont have is the myFaves icon, same thing happened when i first got phone with original OS and had to call BB support for them to send it OVA so that i could edit them using the phone. but i dont need that anyway

as far as the TMO update don't think it'll be any different from what i have now with beta or you with your "official" version.

don't know about issues with former suncom customers and uma issues on the TMO network.
