    Hi friends, i have a problem with my bold 9930 from sprint. My dad bought for me this phone from NY and am using it in Africa and when i received it i had no worries because he was told the phone is completely unlocked and it is but the problem came when i inserted my local Sim card with data plan i tried to register in order to receive the settings in Host Routing Table with no luck. I am truly confused because i have tried to call my service provide and they don't have the answer what is wrong. Please i need your help with this phone friends.

    Blackberrys require a "Blackberry" specific data plan to be fully capable. The phone portion may work with a generic data plan. But you will not be able to use apps that require BIS.
