So I'm liking the new modern looking CrackBerry Forum! I have only browsed around a bit, but I'm feeling the new Forum.

What do you think of the new Forum?

personally, i hate it. i noticed it a few weeks ago on imore, and wasnt a fan at all. its like the page is meant for legally blind people. everything seems huge now and annoyingly overdone. i was more than happy with the look of the old forum look. if theres a way to skin it, count me in.

I think it looks more streamlined.. takes a little getting used to it, but I do like the new look.

if you want it to look smaller and more split up just scroll to the bottom where it says crackberry 2012 and then select vb4 style. Or mobile style. Whatever tickles your fancy. I think it's just a little bright with all the white everywhere... it's burning my retina's haha.

There are some aspects that are better, but overall the size is too big and too much space. I'm a CSS style author on userstyles.org, so I will likely be publishing a style on there to tweak the forums. I'll probably also be making a darker theme too because all the white makes me think of the new Office on Windows 8 (shudder).

Why are all my favorite forums going down the toilet?

Remove some of the white space and move the "reply, quote, thanks..." buttons to the botton of the posts.

Taste and colors ... well I like it simple. Overall performance should (I believe it is already) improve: I can feel it's lightweight. Have to check on BB, DA and PB how it performs.
The best thing is the end of the right side areas filled with (flash) ads an promotions.
Suggestions :
- The author infos could be placed horizontally below the post title; this would save some usefulness space for many (short) posts (1 line against 6).
- Author status "newbie, user ..." could be "iconized" for sexier left area.
- If mentioned, the device(s) may appear in avatar space as a slide-show (with links to dedicated forums/OS ?)

Anyway, welcome to this new babe, and congrats for making the transition easy. I know a bunch of people have worked hard, probably at night to smooth it to the max.
You did it right guys now, time to go to bed or have a beer and party !

change is inevitable. the only thing that would turn me off is if it required any side scrolling. have yet to test on my lower resolution work PC.

I wonder if when I log in on my computer if i'm going to have to have my browser refuse cookies from 20+ advertising and metrics domains. I always wondered why CB needs so many.

Is anyone else with a 9650 having a real difficult time with loading the forum with their regular browser?

I noticed this upgrade fixed the CB Forums app so now you can add and view attachments from your BlackBerry smartphone. Also you are able to take a screen shot and attach it in the forums from your BB Phone and also attach files from your phone to the forums. I posted about this problem before about how the CB Forums app didn't fully functioon and someone said it was the website that needed to be upgraded. So this problem has been fixed. Thanks CrackBerry Team!

I just signed up to AndroidCentral a few days ago and didn't really like the layout kind of confusing, Crackberry was easy to navigate, guess its gonna take getting used to.
