My wife prefers to keep her $30 legacy SERO account without upgrading to premium. Her BB Curve (8330 if I recall correctly) is starting to show it's age. Does anyone know if she can get a better model on ebay and activate it without touching her plan? I know the best "smartphone" she can get is the touch pro 2, but she doesnt' like that and prefers the BB. FYI: She's been using it without a BIS plan (using the standard service book upload to get internet functionality).

    Any suggestions appreciated!

Thanks. Do you know if this will work on a plain ($30) Sero plan?

On that note I cant say,you can call your provider if her plan can be carried onto that device...

the 9330 wouldnt be able to be used on that $30 sero plan, the last BB that you could use on that plan was the Tour 9630

She wants to keep the non premium one. Tour 9630 is latest BB that can be used on that plan

I currently have the 9930 and am paying $40/mo. How much will it cost to have the Q10, $50/mo?

If you are on a 9930 it should already include the premium data so you will not pay more. If you do not have the premium data add on you need to add the 10$.

So far all of the 4G phones are priced with the $10/mo add on (ie, total $50/mo). I find it hard to believe that the Q10 will only be $40/mo...

It will be sero premium $40 + $10 premium data add on.

The only smartphone that doesn't get the $10 Premium data is the Samsung Replemish if you are not grandfathered in.
