I'm looking for some prepaid phone the will work when people are overseas. More than likely just feature phones because the people using them will just need voice and text.

Anyone have any good sites or suggestions for USA and Canada?

If I was you I would go to the country then purchase the phone, instead of trying to purchase from an online site.

If you're looking for the absolute basic, just buy a burner from Walmart or Target, get it unlocked, and have them pop in a local SIM card.

You will most likely be fine getting either a T-Mobile or AT&T branded phone, because almost all phones nowadays are quad-band GSM, and all these phones come with the 2100 MHz band--probably the most deployed 3G band in the world.
