I know there are threads on this, but I can't find anything updated. They're all old.

I used to use telenav, but I switched to Verizon which doesn't support telenav.

I don't like Verizon's navigation.

Any very good GPS turn by turn direction navigation apps?

Not necessarily free. I'll pay for a good one.

Blackberry traffic is good but your on verizon so I believe the telenav straight through appworld is $10 a year.

Telenav went to crap after the last update. BB traffic is sooooooo much faster and more accurate.

Have never used Telenav, but BB Traffic is amazing. Kinda missed the maps first couple times using it, but I adjusted quickly. Bought a car mount for my phone, and my Garmin sits in the glove box. Give it a try, it's FREE, accurate, easy to use, fast and a lot of little features I just love. Besides BBM, it's the best app on my phone.

Telenav works fine on my VZW 9930, as does BB Traffic. I alternate between them at my whim, and each work very well getting me where I'm going.

Verizon definitely supports Telenav. I use it all the time.

In my opinion, Telenav makes BB Traffic look like a joke. Telenav is far more advanced and the UI looks so much better. And at $10/year its really a bargain.
