I'm trying to watch a game online that i'm watching on my laptop. Playbook browser options has flash and java enabled yet the site says i don't have java or flash to watch it. Why do i bother with a tablet if i still have to use my pc? Want to use the hdmi but nothing streams.

I assure you it has Flash. Maybe the site you are using is just running a POS Flash video embed or maybe it just detected you're on a mobile device and won't allow it to run. Some sites are just mean like that, lol. Especially if it's big media sites.

Why can't people provide us enough info so we can try to figure out the issue? Tell us what site is it you're trying to stream from!

It's 88.80.11.29 and it's the only site I can watch preseason NFL games in Canada (didn't want to broadcast the site but oh well). Works beautifully on my laptop.

I do, on my laptop, get the messages that a plugin is missing but that's just to get you to download spam. Works without any downloads.

I checked the About stream and it's listed as Adobe Flash Player on my laptop, so this should work on a Playbook.

I went to the site and I had no problem playing a number of the streams in the native browser- BBC1 & 2, ESPN, Eurosport, etc. I'm running 2.1 beta.

I've just gone to the site again, waited until it completely loads, then scroll down to the live games. I chose one of the ones that is playing now (2:45 PM EST). It says advertisement closes in 15 seconds. Wait. Now it's just a screen with a jigsaw looking icon which means I have no plugin. Same one on my laptop plays. Right-click on it says About Adobe Flash.

Flash doesn't work. What's going on? I keep getting a 404 error when I try and attach the screenshot.

I'm having a similar problem with the Directv Sunday Ticket website

    http://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/superf...stRedirect.jsp

Can someone else confirm if they can or can not view this site on their playbook. Does anybody know what version of flash is part of the Playbook OS 2.1 beta, the site says it requires 11.2 or higher.

This is one of those fly-by-night flash sites that get their money through click-through/pop-up/pop-under ads and get shutdown after they are found out by viacom, ABC and the lot. It's not a proper flash site, but I think the Playbook is not clicking through so they can get their money so you can get "free" content.
