Good day everyone in the house, I need sincere, honest and non-insulting contribution. I need an upgrade from BB Bold 9700 to another BB, pls which one is considered to be a good upgrade in terms of
1. better browser
2. better interface
3. better memory for opening larger internet pages

Any OS7 device will be better in all 4 areas. However, I'd suggest waiting until next year for the BB10 devices.

Either wait or any BB7 device. If you like the keyboard 9900, otherwise maybe a torch? Or if you can cope wait till BB10 hits the floor. Alternatively. In the UK there's a trade in offer which pays you �75 when ou send in your old device. Maybe you've got that offer in your country as well. Check it out.

Than you can buy the device sim free and sell it later or keep it

I would also suggest to wait but if you can't wait until BB10, then you have two options. I couldn't wait last winter so I went out and purchase a torch 9860 off contract. Like everything about this phone including design and how it feels in the hand, but I miss one major thing that leaves me thinking I should have gone with the Bold 9930... And that's the Keyboard!! Although the torch has a decent virtual keyboard I do miss tapping away on the real keys. If you can't wait then it's going to come down to preference for you.. Screen real estate or real keyboard. Good luck!

If you want good battery life, I would really recommend you get a Curve 9320, and I have been loving the keyboard so much on that thing, and its above average speed.

But if you want the Flagship, definitely get the Bold 9900/9930, but be prepared to fork out more than a little for extra batteries if you want to last a full day or so.

That's my take on this.

It's better for my needs, but that has nothing to do with the OP.

I have a 9700, I agree that it is better to wait for BB10 to upgrade. I am thinking of going from OS5 to OS6 in the meantime.

Agreed. We're 6 months away from BB10, tops. Just keep your 9700 clean and wait.
