Does anyone know when we can expect the the 2.1 Release for the Playbook ?

I know RIM is busy, but the 2.1 Beta have been out more that 50 days now.

i registered my playbook for 2.1.0.560 beta,but failed updating within 24hours ,then i can't rigister it again,now my playbook is dead,can't connect to update server,anyone can help?

Big V - You have asked the very question that's been on my mind for a while. How can they release a beta and then go silent for so long like this? Anyway, sorry I couldn't add anything but I can tell you I did a web search a couple of weeks ago and found nothing.

Yea, this update is taking longer than i thought.

It's been almost two months!


RIM said we will get it early summer; don't know which hemisphere he was talking about, lol.

Ugh. Screen capture leak of 4g LTE Blackberry Playbook makes mention of OS 2.0. Not OS 2.1.

I'm giving up on hoping that official OS 2.1 will be released in July. Likely later in the summer...an update available for OS 2.1 for both non-4G and 4G Playbooks would make sense.

Since the new leak about the 4G playbook shows it coming with 2.0 I'm starting to think we won't see 2.1 until after it launches at the end of the month. So hopefully we'll see something start showing up around the first few weeks of august.

Haha exactly.

Anybody who makes ultimatums to RIM regarding it keeping its schedules either does it tongue-in-cheek or has long since left because RIM doesnt make any of them. Seeing these screen shots, and recalling rim's record, tells me we are assure of it not releasing on that date.
