    Hello,
Not sure where to post this hope some one can help me out
I have a 9810 and I have dropped a few times, which has screwed up the speaker on the slide part of the , to the point I can't hear people clear.

Is there a place to purchase the slider portion? I have read on here replacing speaker is a job but the slider parts should be 1/2 the work. I have att and they are useless. The phone isn't under warranty either, I am sure this issue wouldn't be covered

    Thanks

    Robert

This is the replacement speaker. According to the instructions it is simply a matter of replacing the faulty speaker with this one.

Ok, so that being the case -

I've dropped mine a few times too and it's all scratched to poo. Can I swap the chassis with my old 9800? Will all the 9810 guts fit in it?

How difficult a job is that? Is there a video how-to anywhere?

Awesome! I may try it, just not 100% confident. I hate to mess up a good phone if something goes wrong. They both work right now so it's a definite possible maybe!

I guess if nothing else I could always take the thing apart for a repaint, right? I'm thinking some cool tie-dye neon thing.

Yes all the parts of the 9800 case will fit the 9810.

But be warned, the disassembly of the screen part is a major pain, I tried to do so cause I wanted the case from my 9800 since to me it took more of a beating and still looked better. But I broke the touch digitizer in the process, and I thought I was being very careful.
