Hello. Long time since I have been here. I have a friend with an 8530 and he WAS getting comcast email, then it just stopped. I have deleted the account and set it back up again but to no avail. I resent service books etc.
Called comcast but that was a waste of time. Anyone use comcast email? If so, can you tell me the settings you are using? Thanks.
User name is the email address.
Mail server is mail.comcast.net using POP on port 995 (SSL)
Can your friend log into and receive webmail on a computer? I have seen a couple of issues where the account itself is at fault, especially as the BlackBerry (same model) pulled all of the settings automatically.
