I think waiting 1 week after payment is unacceptable, and the fact that you never received the merchandise you purchased is ridiculous.

If I was in your position, I would file a complaint with PayPal if the money wasn't gifted. Even if it was, I'd probably at least give them a shout and tell them you got ripped off.

he forgot to inform all of you that the post office screwed up. he told me the ONLY way for tracking is EXPRESS mail. the next day when i went back to try and get the package back he appolgized and told me he made a mistake. how is that my fault? and how is that making me save money?

I've gotta back up dvigue here. I've dealt with him numerous times and have never had one issue. You know who I've had an issue with? The USPS. They are garbage, and incredibly slow. It just took 13 days to get a package from New York to Illinois. And this was shipped via Priority Mail. 13 days!!! That's like a whopping 1200 miles. There's also a law in many states and in Illinois that a package is considered delivered and out of the deliverers hands once it is dropped off with the Post Office. If you have beef, then please contact the post office. I'm sure he would give you the information to try to get the package found. It's always a crapshoot delivering internationally, which is why I try to avoid it. But I'd think there would be a more amicable way to try to figure this out rather than make threats. And if you said something about his wife, that's completely uncalled for.

I think the threats are way out of line, and bringing someone's family into this is reason enough to have to hide. If that were my family that person would have to hide in Africa. Really? I'm sure the sent it to you and the package was lost by USPS. I have not dealt with you, but I have with dvigue, and he's definitely not a crook or a thief. I've had issues with USPS here in the states, let alone sending it internationally. I would say that both of you need to contact USPS and see what the happened. The beef shouldn't be between you guys. It should be between you guys and the USPS.

Just an FYI: They also quote different numbers on international shipping. I looked up the price of trackable priority international shipping and the number I got was $22. When I got to my local USPS, they didn't have that size of box, so it would be in a bigger box for $65! First Class was $17. Just to let you know how the USPS works a little bit. I'm not sure they even know what's going on most of the time.

I've had numerous deals with Derek both in and out of the CB Marketplace. I've never had a single issue with Derek during any of my deals. Derek is an honest, trustworty person. In fact Derek is one of the few people that I can count on to not rip me off on a deal. Every deal has been perfect, item has arrived fast and in perfect condition every time. Additionally, I think posting everything as you have done is a bit childish.
