Having a problem with sms. The blackberry has kept all my text messages since I had the phone august 2011 from my wife. I never delete her messages. But now I can only read from texts from march onwards.
Is the blackberry deleting them? Or are they in its memory or I just cant view them.
I do have plenty of memory and space. I back up regularly and have about over 10000 texts when it backups. So that means the texts are there but I cant just read them its like they are disappearing.
Anyone else had this problem?
Is there a way to see them again?
Is there anyway to recover them?
They are being deleted.
Messages are stored in a limited size database, and when that's full they get deleted to make room for new ones. Some have said that the database size is larger in later OS7.1 versions, so you might want to update your OS if you haven't already.
