I am looking for a free E-Book reader for my Bold 9900 here in the U.K.

It needs to be able to read pdf files and have the ability to remember where I am in the book or to be able to set my own bookmarks.

I have searched and searched but the reviews on all the apps on the app world are poor or I have to upload my own books to there website which I don't want to do.

It's an Amazon Kindle beta app that works on the Bold. I don't think the app supports .pdf, but the thread's creator explains how to change the .pdf file to a file compatible with the app. I use the app and it does everything you're wanting and more stuff. Give a try.
