Has anyone figured out how to play flash videos in the dolohin hd webbrowser? I am using "Reddit is fun" which runs in the android runtime. Occationally post link to non youtube videos which try to open in the dolphin hd browser, but obviously won't play. Has anyone found a solution to get flash working in the android browsers?

Android runtime can not run native (machine code) binaries. Flash player (and almost anything useful) needs to be compiled as a native (machine code) binary. Flash Player is only offered in this form.

that's a bummer, however couldn't a binary be compiled for the android version of dolphin hd which would run "natively" within the playbook android runtime? Another work around for this would be to add a third "open in playbook browser" option to the dialog that pops up when an external link is click in "reddit is fun". This wouldbe similar to the email sharing funtionality (which opens the compose email screen of the native email app w/ url link to reddit post in the message body) that the app already has.

Of course, it's possible. Adobe would need to do this though. That's not happening.

Android apps have no access outside the Android sandbox. So they are not able to open the Playbook browser. That is, unless RIM turns the default browser in to the Playbook browser in the Android code. As you've noticed they have done this with email.
