I sent them an email, asking when it would be out, about 3 weeks ago. The response I received from Mike C. was:
"Dear Customer,
All though currently in development, we can not not yet comment at this time
when we will be releasing the Dell voice app for Blackberry Devices."
So to the Canadian Crackberry Nation (any help from US also greatly appreciated), write to them and ask. Let them know there is major interest. Email at [email protected].
Can anyone comment on the permissions requested by Dell Voice? Some of them seem pretty far fetched to me, but the app flat out refuses to run unless you allow access to all of them. Specifically:
Phone - isn't it supposed to be VOIP?
Input Simulation - this would allow an app to do something crazy like inject/delete keystrokes?
I installed this app on my BB 9860 Torch running 7.1.0.523. I was able to call out once, then that's it. Calling out afterwards just gives dead air. I am able to receive calls, though.

Same Here!! I was able to connect properly once after that all I get is dead air from the other end even though the call connects. What a waste of my $5 credit!
