I'll be the first to admit I'm not the most technologically minded guy, but I do my best. I was reading about the latest os for Verizon 9930's, 7.1.0.267. I have had 7.1.0.457 for a while now. Did I miss something? Or is it a fluke? Thanks.

You're looking at the wrong version number. You should be looking under the app version #.

Example: 9930cmpttAMEA_PBr7.1.0_rel457_PL5.1.0.137_A7.1.0.163.exe

The second highlighted version is the one you SHOULD be looking at.
