    Hello guys,

is there any possibility to know to which carrier a blackberry was locked to?

the phone is not branded on the case and when it starts there is no splash screen from any carrier...

the phone is unlocked because i can use different carrier's sim card...

so, how can i tell which carrier was originally set up to?

    Thanks in advance...

From any screen, press ALT+SHIFT+H to open the Help Me! screen.
The first line is Vendor ID. Google the 3-digit vendor number to find out.

Since your phone is unlocked, I'm confused a bit why it would matter, but here's the list

The list in the link above is 3 years old. I found this one which is more recent.

    Vendor ID 612 = Celluar One/SETAR/Viaero/BTC Bahamas/i wireless/Telecom Personal/
    West Central Wireless/Antel/Mobility/UTS/Telem

I'm not sure which applies to your case but hopefully it narrows it down.

how can a blackberry be unbranded?
    Unbranded for a particular carrier..
    (such as testing device)

If it was, there should be a startup screen with the logo of the carrier it was used with..
