All of a sudden my phone has gone bonkers - if the screen is one and I slide the slider open, the screen goes blank - I have to push the "lock" button several times and then the screen will come on. It does the same when I got to close the slider. However, I open the slider when the screen is off, it will just come on as normal. Any suggestions - I'm afraid this might be a hardware problem. I did reload the 402 OS today, same issues.
It could possibly be a shorted ribbon connector. When you slide it shut or open it hits that weird shorted spot and throws your screen off. If it is still under warranty or insurance I would get it replaced if you can before your screen goes completely. Good luck
