I hate to sound stupid but I really have no idea!

The 1st time I saw "DIY" was when I recently purchased an app called X Weather DIY Widget.

I can't figure out how to use it and in the app description. It says:
Push the weather widget in your homescreen wallpaper.DIY the weather widget with hundreds options...

OK, now I'm going to sound even more dumb. What is a widget?

Nowheregirl, I don't know the app that you are talking about but DIY means �do it yourself�. Evidently the app wants you to create something yourself. Sorry I'm not any more help than that.

And a widget is something on your homescreen. Like a app what runs on the homescreen. If you get a weather app and put it on the first row,it will be the temprature wher you placed the app and not the app icon

I've been racking my brain trying to figure out what DIY could mean, and it never occurred to me that it was Do It Yourself. Now that I've read both your replies, I'm sure the instructions for the weather app will make a lot more sense:-)
