Greetings,

I'm having issues with my browser on my playbook. My university uses Blackboard for classes, and I've always been able to sign in and do my work. However today I'm trying to log in, and every time I hit the login button, my Playbook tries to download it, and treats it as a downlad link, rather than logging in. I Called the IT Helpdesk, and they say nothing on Blackboard has changed. I've tried using Wi-fi, Bridge, and Tether, I've reset my Playbook. I've turned it completely off, and back on again. It still is treating login link as a download link. Has anyone had any issues like this?

Did you try a 3 button hard reset?

have u tried clearing all your cache, history, all that stuff?

Cleared everything history, cache, etc, reset, restarted, turned off many more times. It's still doing it.

I input login info in Figure 104 and Figure 102 shows what happens when I click login.

Does it do it if you put in the wrong email password info?? If so give me the Web Page and ill try to see what happens on my end.

Okay its definitely your playbook and not "the" playbook. You did hold the power and both volume keys down to hard reset correct?

Yeah, It's still doing it. It worked fine last week. Nothing has changed. I don't get it.

Try simple browser ? Maybe that will work for you !

That's what my IT Help said too, but all the profiles on that still try to "download" this webpage.

This is strange this happened to me yesterday using a public hotspot!
I tried clicking onn some crackberry links and it did the same exact thing..very strange.
Were you on a public hotspot or home wifi? This does not happen on my home wifi.

This is both using my Home Wifi, as well as Tethered from Blackberry. I'll try it next time I'm out.

This happens with my PB browser as well. Same pages at the same location work fine using Maxthon browser. It's very annoying, and I've tried everything to make it stop.

Three months later, it's still treating only Blackboard as a download instead of logging in..
