So I had a 8100 (it broke) so my brother sent me an 8120. I havent opened it yet since I know there is an 8130 around but the problem is, I don't know the difference between them.

Is there any huge difference between the 8120/30?? Is it worth selling the 20 and getting the 30?

    ALSO

I know the 8100 has the color pearl app and I was wondering if you thought it was possible for me to take apart my 8100 and switch the led pearl thing with the one in the 8120/30

    think that would work???

    Thanks!

An 8120 is a GSM device with, I believe, WiFi. An 8130 is a CDMA deivce. An 8100 is a GSM device with no WiFi. You cannot use these interchangeably on any provider. See which one Rogers actually offers and us that one.

Rogers supports the 8120, not the 8130. Just talking to a rep the other day!
