After reboot 2 new apps showed up:

Podcasts

Slacker radio

Anyone else get this?

op, go to the 'software updates' option and let us know the current installed OS, should be version 2.0.1.358

My notification just appeared out of the blue on my home screen.

Try Settings, software updates and see what happens.

I agree with you re local Aus update - or so it seems. However the update didn't show up in the left corner - it showed in the bridge icon on the top of the screen.

Re OS - still the same as last weeks upgrade and as you quoted.

Yep I bet region specific esp since you now have 2 apps you didn't before. Must now be approved for your region.

This is very weird. I also got it.
I have version 2.0.1.358 already installed.
This is what it reads:

"Application Update Available:
Update Available:
Version 2.0.1.238, Size 14MB"

The description shows the info for OS 2.0.1 in general.
I think i'll skip this one for the time being

What you show is a downgrade. Are you sure the "update" numbers are right?

Where on the home screen is the notification?

Mine was showing on the bridge icon on the very top line of the home screen.

I've never bothered side loading, so can't help you on that point - though i'm not sure that it would have any impact if it's only to add more apps.

@dgarciam you may have to turn off the glow in the settings Sounds and Notifications area.

What do you sideload?

I'm not really into apps.
